Respond to and resolve help desk requests from both on-site and off-site employees. Run calls to troubleshoot desktop/laptop problems for PC computers. Assist staff in performing system backup and maintenance functions. Assist in installation of PC hardware and software. Create, change, and delete user accounts per request. Assist in network and hardware troubleshooting. Assist in performing preventative maintenance and upgrades on servers. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary. Assist Systems Administrator (or designee) with current projects. Maintain company websites with updates/upgrades as needed (WordPress). Perform special projects as needed. Assist in needs analysis for projects; in research for solutions for needs. Acquire, install, and/or upgrade computer components and software as needed. Utilize LanSweeper ticketing system for recording issues, requests, and projects.

I am a Support Analyst L2 for Meggitt PLC in Erlanger, Ky / Cincinnati, Oh, formally know as EDAC Composites/Parkway Products. I set up new users accounts, resolve issues that user may have with their systems, and programming and set up of Telesis Lasers.

I have recently awarded a new position at my current employer. I am currently training to complete my transition from a machinist to a systems administrator at EDAC composites. I will work with users to solve problems that may occur during the day, work on assigned IT projects, continue to improve the skills that I am continuing to learn and from my educational background.

At Edac Composites/ Parkway Products I have had the following positions :CNC machinist - I operate, set up, and programming of CNC controlled Mazak and Haas mills. ID and OD grind/machining. Mold press operator - I lay parts up in different molds and cure them in a heated press.

At SBComp I assist customers in the store with problems they may have with their laptop or desktop computer systems, with a purchase of a new or refurbished computer system or upgrades. The services that I perform are : Remove all viruses, spyware, malware and rootkits from your computer.Repair any operating system issues (boot issues, blue screens, etc.)Perform operating system critical updates.Preserve all uninfected or undamaged programs, documents, pictures, music and settings.Test system for proper functionality.Provide you with an estimated cost for hardware repairs or upgrades if needed to provide a complete solution.Laptop and Desktop hardware upgrades, repairs and new assemblySystem Software Restore Service which includes the erasing of the hard drive to ensure no infected files survive. Re-load Operating System, an antivirus software, and any OEM software (if available).

As a self employed computer technician I do computer configuration, upgrades on hardware and software, virus and malware removal, trouble shooting, printer and home network set up, backing up of data and help desk for customers from my home or other locations.

At ZF Sachs I held the following positions :Piston rod department : operated, setup, and programmed Okuma CNC lathes, EFD hardening equipment, LNS material handling equipment and quality checks. Assembly - worked in the assembly of shocks and struts on an automated and manual assembly lines as an operator, setup person, and back up team lead. Material handler - operated sit down and stand up forklifts to bring material to and from stock to the assembly lines. Learned how to use kaizen and lean manufacturing concepts in production environments.
