- Perform Risk Management File Review according to ISO 14971:2007, Medical devices -- Application of risk management to medical devices.- Testing and Certification to IEC 60601-1:2005 + A1:2012, national deviations, all collateral and particular standards, including IEC 60601-1-11 (home healthcare), IEC 60601-1-6 (Usability), and IEC 60601-1-8 (Alarms). -Interpret safety standards and apply the requirements to electrical products under investigation.-Create and implement test plans.-Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.-Prepare certification reports and related documents.-Perform compliance assistance efforts with companies still in the development phase.-Communicate and educate companies on design requirements specified by product safety standards
