Served as the maintenance chief for Communications Company's Maintenance Platoon. Supervised and directed up to 50 maintenance marines in the daily repair of communication-electronic equipment to include but not limited to; ground radio communications (UHF/SATCOM, VHF, and HF radios), computers, printers, copper cable, fiber-optic cable, and ancillary equipment. Oversaw the daily administration of all maintenance and supply reports to ensure timely and accurate changes were made for the required maintenance reporting procedures to conform to budgetary constraints, to validate and track the requisitioning of parts needed to repair equipment awaiting these parts.Provided daily status briefs to the maintenance officer (and in his absence the Communications Company Commanding Officer) on all designated critical equipment inducted into the maintenance shop to keep the company abreast of the status of these assets.Oversaw the training, development and well being of all marines under my charge.
