Lead the pivot of company operations to bring best-in-class sustainability solutions to underserved small and medium sized enterprises, focusing on high impact solutions tailored to each industry.

Led the transformative change for the company and industry on sustainability and integrated quality. For sustainability, this transformation included the pursuit, development and completion of $20 billion of sustainability rated projects, which required the training and management of over 1,000 sustainable professionals within the company, the integration of sustainability opportunities on every project during planning and execution, and embedding sustainability into strategic planning and execution. Shared all training created with the broader industry through USGBC Education+ platform.For quality, created the new standard for the design and construction industry with the imbedded Quality First program, which fully integrated quality into all company operations with a focus on Right, the Individual and Collaboration, Imbedded Verification, Continuous Improvement, and ensuring Everyone Benefits. Quality First has become the gold standard for the industry through my sharing and collaboration with the creation of the Construction Quality Executives Council peer group.As part of continually improving and transforming the company, I was also the original corporate leader to organize and grow the VDC departments within the company - going from a handful of individuals to a self-sustaining department with multiple specialists and engineers. I was also the leader for the creation and maintenance of the companies knowledge system to collect, share and highlight best practices across the company and within communities of practices. In addition, I was the leader in revolutionizing and streamlining the company's policies and procedures - going from a book of over 300 sections to a graphical on-line interface of 34 key sections.

Leader in bringing innovation and sustainability to the design and construction industry through research, training and direct execution of projects. A primary focus was the completion of research for a variety of industry organization, specializing on advanced energy systems (cool thermal storage, cold air distribution and absorption cooling/heating), indoor air quality and ventilation, and technical design guides (laboratories and ductwork).In addition, led the development of the commissioning process for the industry through the creation of multiple 5-day training courses and certifications, direct work for dozens of owners over hundreds of projects to streamline their planning, design, construction and operations of their facilities, and leadership on ASHRAE and USGBC standards to define and integrate commissioning.Continually focused on improving the environment through our services, including energy and operational optimization, one of the original USGBC member to define and implement sustainability in the built environment, and sharing with others through local, national and international conferences.

As a Mechanical Engineer in the US Air Force stationed at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida, I was responsible for the design, construction and operation of mechanical systems on the AFB. A primary focus was to modernize the aging systems with new and innovative technologies. This included the first ever use of an energy enthalpy recovery wheel in the Air Force for the renovation of the hospital's operating rooms. In addition, led the conversion of the base wide control systems to direct digital control (from pneumatics), including the design, installation, training and operation.Was the leader of 25 enlisted personnel deployment to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as part of Desert Storm and was responsible for their safety, well-being and all interaction with base leadership and family issues. During Desert Storm actions, was the nighttime commander for the Civil Engineering Squadron for responding to any issues and recovery after attack (scud missiles) - this included Riyadh Airbase, Eskan Village (troop housing) and the main operational bunker for U.S. leadership.
