Integrated and synchronized work between HQ ISAF, IJC, and Regional Commands, the Command Priorities, Staff Priorities, role and tasks of the DCOS as well as the tasks within IJC staff that support IJC Commander’s mission and intent. Operated within the intricacies of operational level meetings with similar, and senior level headquarters. Performed duties on behalf of the DCOS as directed, including meetings with senior civilian officials in the Afghan government and Coalition governments. Prepared speeches, speaking notes and presentations for the DCOS as directed. Supervised the work of the Aide-de-Campe and Staff Assistant Admin.

Served as Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff G6; represented the G6 directorate in his absence. Motivated, influenced, and led the Corps-level (three-star General Officer commanding a 15,000+ member force) signal team to extraordinary performance. Led analysis of signal mission, force requisition and flow, and concept of operations for maneuver plans, including NATO Article V and Non-Article V crisis response operations.
