- Manages the sales activity in the specific territories to achieve sales revenues and profit objectives in accordance with company goals and objectives using quantitative measurements and consultative selling skills.- Identify specific market and account opportunities, develop and execute selling plans to focus on targeted markets and accounts.- Manage the manufacturer’s representatives, distributors, and house accounts, including strategic planning, performance evaluation, training, major activity support, and hire and fire.- Provide major activity support of the manufacturer’s representatives, and distributors as it relates to account and/or project management. Sales Segmentation Focused 1. Responsible for global sales in WWTP and Food Processing Industry 2. Customer visits and sales rep training on value proposition 3. Research, identify and prioritize of prospects 4. Lead and strengthen representatives ability to identify WWTP and Food Processing opportunities 5. Work with sales department to identify, analyze and evaluate existing channel partners and potential new partner relationships for our product lines. 6. Determine how we can use web-based applications (i.e. Hartzell-FLOW) to improve the communication and order processing efficiency with our channel partners. Market/Business Development Opportunities 1. Identify and understand the key process applications for the WWTP and Food Processing business in detail in order to identify new opportunities where our products can be utilized in the current application as well as, new applications that are being developed. 2. Identify new product gaps, new products and additional features and benefits. Develop and enhance customer options related to value proposition 3. Participate on cross functional teams for new product development projects to provide market research and other required marketing support. 4. Measure success of new product initiatives within the WWTP and Food Processing segments. 5. Study the competition and identify their strengths, weaknesses, marketing strategies, selling strategies, etc. Create competitive benchmarking data and sales and marketing tools. 6. Provide input on sales with forward visibility of refining market trends to improve forecasting capability for annual planning process and strategic planning process.
