I helped develop the core technology that is used today in the early stages Group14 Technologies prior to being officially founded. I am named on several of the patents around the silicon-carbon composites and nano-silicon anodes.

At 96.5 K-Rock I was primarily the remote broadcast engineer for the station. I was also the in studio audio engineer to record special interviews and visiting artists for later play back or live. I was also "Evil Chadd" the engineer on the Andy Savage morning show. As "Evil Chadd" I would set up my own remote broadcasts and was an addition to the morning show for special on and offsite events. In 2005 I organized and executed a survival style tip to the Super Bowl for a promotion called "Andy Savage's Short Bus To The Big Game" where I converted a short school bus into a rolling air studio and ran broadcast from the bus in 7 cities across the U.S. on the way to the Super Bowl.

As Chief Remote Engineer for KISS 106.1 FM I worked closely with the promotions department to schedule, set up and run remote offsite broadcasts. I also acted as an in studio audio engineer to record special interviews and run sound for visiting artists. While at KISS I started and audio internship program and took students in from the Art Institute of Seattle and Shoreline Community College. I enjoyed working with the interns to help them get real industry experience by recording artists and building remote broadcasts. I managed a small crew of remote engineers year round with more added in the summer months.

I had the honor of working for Klein Bicycle as a machinist before the TREK buyout and for a year after. I set up several pieces of equimpent including end mills and custom tools in order to fabricate all types of bicycle parts for the different product lines. I also worked closely with the welders to insure part quality and fitment. Each bicycle was hand build from beginning to end. This meant communication with downstream departments was crucial to manufacturing a beautiful and quality product.
