Leads a multi-disciplinary team of consultants that specializes in helping organizations communicate across departments and aid executives and directors in making timely and informed decisions. Provides seminars on the interdependencies between operations, supply chain, distribution network, marketing, sales, human resources and budgeting on enabling informed decision making and long term planning. As part of a larger team, provides a training event that exercises an organization’s policies and procedures and helps it see how well its various departments communicate and make decisions. Ultimately, enables organizations to see how well their internal processes and communication aid in planning and decision making and the effects on operations.

Developed the U.S. Army’s requirements for equipment, software, data formats, and data exchanges for Geopsatial Information & Services supporting over 150k platforms. Developed training standards and requirements for the Geospatial Engineer career field. Coordinated with international partners on geospatial interoperability. Integrated geospatial data and visualization standards across all US Army systems that analyze, display or manipulate geospatial information. Coordinated with material developers and program managers to educate them on geospatial information requirements and options to meet their program specific geospatial display, sharing and processing needs.

Camp Arifjan, Kuwait

Coordinated and synchronized the staff of the Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Freedom (CJTF-OIR) Engineer Directorate in support of the CJTF-OIR staff and subordinate organizations. This included planning force requirements, force flow, mobility/counter-mobility requirements (coalition and host nation), general engineering in support of basing and logistics and technical support to targeting efforts. The Directorate staff was joint, multi-national and interagency, including members from four nations, all four services, DoD and other civilian agencies.

Planning Team Leader in the G35 (Future Operations) of the Rapid Reaction Corps - France (RRC-FR), a French framework NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Headquarters serving as the NATO Response Force Land Component Command HQ for 2014 and capable of functioning as a Joint Force Headquarters. Responsible for leading key members of a multinational staff through the Operational Planning Process (OPP) and integrated joint planners into the HQ planning team. Responsible for turning the Commander's vision and guidance into executable orders for subordinate units while coordinating support from other component commands.

Fort Leavenworth, Ks

Served at the Mission Command Training Program at Fort Leavenworth, KS; designed and delivered command post exercises to train brigade and battalion staffs and commanders on Mission Command with a focus on parallel planning and reducing staff inefficiencies. This included all aspects of the exercise, from scenario development to after action reviews. During the exercises, I supported supported the training units by acting as a trainer and mentor for staff officers, providing insights on how other organizations solved similar challenges and helping them see themselves by developing After Action Reviews in conjunction with their chain of command. My focus area was in Protecting the Force, Combat Engineering, Chemical/Biological/Radiation/Nuclear (CBRN) Hazards, Military Police Operations and Air Defence Operations as well as supporting the Army's Targeting Processes for both counter-insurgency and major combat operations.

Fort Riley, Ks

Responsible for the upgrading and modernizing of all vehicles and equipment for a 3,500 person organization. Responsible to plan, coordinate and oversee all training and administrative actions associated with the modernization. While in a hostile environment, oversaw the planning and coordination required to understand, assess, and mitigate risks to the organization.

Fort Riley, Ks

Served as both the Director of Operations and Deputy Director. During those two years I manned, equipped, trained, validated, deployed and established steady state operations for a 500 person organization. This included all administrative/human resources, maintenance, and training tasks associated with certification to operate in a hostile environment, as well as planning, coordinating and conducting the transport the organization and all equipment over 10,000 miles using rail, truck, sea and airlift. The organization included unique capabilities from five separate Army branches, each with multiple skill sets and requiring specialty training.

Wasit Province, Iraq

Provided quality assurance for Department of State (DoS) contracted and funded construction projects in support of the Iraqi Government in Wasit Province, Iraq. Served as the Contracting Officer's Representative for DoS projects, inspecting projects to ensure work was done to Iraqi Government and contract specified standards. Coordinated with the Provincial Government to determine future construction projects to submit for DoS funding. Validated scopes of work, requests for bids and contractor submittals for new projects and made recommendations to the Contracting Officer. Managed all aspects of a mixed, USACE Civilian, contractor and local national work force and a contracted security team, to include evaluations, payroll, vacation and equipment accountability and maintenance tasks.

Little Rock, Arkansas Area

Worked with National Guard units in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas in order to organize, train and certify for deployment. This included pre-mobilization organization and training in local armories, State run training and administrative processing and Federal mobilization administrative processing, training and certification for deployment for operations in Iraq. Mentored company leadership and battalion staffs on organizing for, planning and conducting operations.

Baumholder, Germany

Responsible for all aspects of leading, equiping and training a 155 Soldier company for operational deployment anywhere in the world. Included basic Soldier tasks, specialty tasks (career field specific) and collective tasks necessary for medics, mechanics, cooks, a battalion level staff (planning, IT, HR, Logistics), transportation and support sections as well as combat engineers and an engineer reconnaissance team. Responsible for all administrative actions, to include but not limited to pay, promotions, awards and legal actions. Successfully met all training requirements during two external evaluations and deployed the company to Iraq.

Served in various leadership and management roles common to junior military officers. Included duty positions are:Platoon Leader - lead/supervise 18 Soldiers, responsible for planning and resourcing individual and collective training for a combat engineer platoon; maintaining platoon equipment and monitoring administrative tasks (pay, promotions & awards);Battalion Adjutant - responsible for all administrative/HR tasks for over 430 Soldiers, including pay, promotions, awards, re-assignments, vacations, legal actions, adverse administrative actions, separations and medical evaluations, unit safety and OHSA compliance as well as responsible for organizing and leading the battalion's alternate command post when deployed (responsible for all command post functions as coordinating logistics support);Battalion Maintenance Officer - responsible for fleet management for an engineer battalion, including scheduling routine maintenance, prioritizing unscheduled maintenance, tracking parts flow and, when needed, expediting parts delivery; responsible for environmental compliance - over 350 vehicles + trailers and generators, approximately 120 mechanics;Company Executive Officer - responsible for managing the operational, training, maintenance, logistics and administrative/HR running of the company in order to allow the commander to focus on leading.
