Architect, manage, and maintain all data center network equipment across two data centers. Manage private cloud server farms consisting of hundreds of servers hosting critical infrastructure. Manage other IT personnel and provide a point of technical escalation for IT staff in a wide range of technical areas. Essential Functions: • Supervise Systems Administrators group, providing a point of escalation and direction for Systems Administrators Group. • Manage Data Center and Systems Administration projects. • Create custom administration tools using Power shell as needed. • Provide oversight for all data center-related incident, problem, and change cases following established service management policies and processes. • Oversees preventative and operational maintenance to maintain a secure and state-of-the-art environment. • Develop and maintain data center facility policies and procedures.• Create and maintain all documentation related to the physical and logical layout of data centers. • Administration of Cisco UCS servers, vSphere ESXi 6.5, vCenter Server 6.5 • Administration of VMware virtual machines, Windows Servers, Active Directory, and some Linux servers. • Identify, research, troubleshoot and resolve problems with hardware, software and systems. • Ensure technical systems and solutions are operating efficiently, according to best practices, and maintain disaster recovery readiness at all times.• Analyze performance, predict needs and growth, plan and recommend preventative measures. • Document and complete all changes in accordance with Change Management policies and procedures. • Responsible for the day to day management of domain controllers in five production Active Directory forests. • Develops and documents procedures, processes, plans, and guidelines for industry standard Exchange and Active Directory system configuration, deployment, and support.

• Data Center Infrastructure administrator • Manage core data center network components including Nexus-series Ethernet switches, MDS-series Fibre Channel SAN switches, and traditional Cisco IOS devices. • Manage UCS components of Flexpod Platforms in a highly virtualized data center. • Develop custom Powershell based automation processes, alerts, and administrative tools.• Administer Citrix XenDesktop 7.x leveraging MPS and Citrix App Layering• Manage the overall health of all Active Directory environments, including five production forests. • Manage SQL server on an administrative level. • Maintain server farm environment including hardware, installation of server applications, operating system level issues, DHCP, and DNS issues. • Provide a point of escalation for issues from other administrators and the help desk.

• Provided Microsoft premiere support customers with the highest quality of support available. • Troubleshot, diagnosed, and resolved Active Directory issues ranging from account lockouts, to replication issues, to a complete corruption of the Active Directory for Microsoft customers. • Provided consults for other Engineers when cases outside of the Active Directory teams overlap. • Provided Microsoft best practices information to customers, participated in triage meetings to share knowledge, and contributed to the Microsoft knowledgebase. • In addition to Active Directory, provided support umbrella included all aspects of terminal server licensing, LSASS, Kerberos, resource permissions (NTFS\Share), and local profile support.

• Supported all server hardware and software; including business critical applications such as SQL, Exchange, and Citrix.• Maintained LAN/WAN connectivity including configuring all Cisco equipment in three sites. • Maintained and troubleshot DNS, DHCP, and IIS. • Managed site backups using Symantec Backup Exec and Symantec NetBackup. • Administered Websense internet filtering system and controlled virus threats with Symantec/ Norton Anti-Virus corporate editions. • Maintained Windows patch management for workstations and servers. • Advised Junior Network Administrators as well as PC Technicians as needed. • Provided IT purchase benefit cost analysis to management. • Provided management with ways to change IT processes, network infrastructure, or procedures to be more cost efficient, and create project plans for recommended changes.
