Chad Huston practiced law between 1982 and 1990 with Arnold, White & Durkee focusing on patent prosecution, licensing and litigation, with an emphasis on software issues. From 1990 - 1996 Chad worked for Schlumberger. From October, 1996 until August 1997 served as executive Vice Chairman of ProShot Golf. Chad was a partner at Daffer McDaniel until it ceased operations in December 2015.Chad was a founder and chairman of UpLink Corporation and Assistant Pro, Inc. and currently practices law with Egan Peterman Enders & Huston in Austin, Texas focusing on technology related issues. Chad is a past president of the Austin Intellectual Property Law Association and the Austin Corporate Counsel Chapter. His current professional interests are utilizing Intellectual Property as an asset class, including financing and monetization mechanisms. His current technology interests are augmented and virtual reality, computational photography, and artificial intelligence.Chad is retired from the Air Force and is a fighter pilot with over 4500 hours in 10 types of fighter aircraft, including combat experience. He currently is flying a Pitts Model 12, which he built, and is working on building/rebuilding a Pitts S1s.
