• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for black oxide, Cerakote, acid pickle, parts prep, and heat treatment processes. • Develope and implement new Cerakote process integration with a Fanuc robot, doubling production rates from 400 parts per day to 800 parts per day, less wear and tear on associates and dropped the required employees in half from 4 to 2. • Improve process for automated black oxide line production process and desludge process, reducing amount of hazardous waste generated per year, average of $30,000 per year savings. • Develope and implement materials flow "milk run" process through plant with kaizen principles to improve lean manufacturing. (Working on this currently) • Manage finishing department for 3 years, including a black oxide line, acid pickle line, polishing line, wash and tumble line, sand and bead blast line, Cerakote line, and heat treatment line. • Generate and implement ideas for daily kaizen to improve lean manufacturing and reduce waste.
