Currently licensed in 20 states, Chad is directly involved in the design, review and approval of over 90 Multi-Family and Commercial Engineering projects in the United States. He has over 14 years of experience in the Structural Engineering field and is well-versed in the design of new buildings as well as the renovation of existing structures. Chad is responsible for project scheduling, marketing, proposals, project management and design for the structural engineering of all multi-family and commercial projects at Strand Systems. His extensive experience includes the structural design and analysis of multi-level buildings using structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete, deep foundations, elevated concrete decks, structural masonry and wood-frame design. Chad has become very conversant in a variety of structural design systems and most proficient in analyzing existing structural designs and providing cost-effective, value-engineered solutions that lead to savings for both clients and builders alike.

Chad was responsible for the design, structural analysis, coordination, and preparation of structural plans and specifications. He has taken part in the design of new buildings and bridges as well as the renovation of existing structures. Experiences include design in steel, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, masonry, and wood construction. His structural analysis experiences include three-dimensional and solid finite element modeling and analysis.
