As the Station Mechanic at the Silsbee Compressor Station, I am responsible for the general maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the Station Compression which consists of two Waukesha Drivers, and Dresser Rand Compressors, and one Superior White Driver and a White Compressor. My daily activities include making routine station rounds and completing daily read sheets, scheduling and assisting with Annual Emissions Testing, Quarterly PM’s, Annual PM’s and scheduled overhauls on both the drivers and compressor packages. I perform monthly oil sampling and send the samples off for analysis. In addition to my mechanical responsibilities, I manage the day to day operation and maintenance on the two Silsbee Station Instrument Air Driers, Instrument Air Compressors, Station Dehydrators, Vapor Recovery Units, and perform routine maintenance on the various pumps, motors, Chemical Injection Systems and other equipment at the Silsbee Compressor Station. I routinely assist the Operations Group with pipeline pigging, station realignments and LOTO of compression and associated station equipment for maintenance and troubleshooting issues. My past work experience includes operating heavy equipment in the construction of pipeline Rights of Ways, pushing pad sites for drilling rigs and support equipment, building access roads. Following my completion of Diesel Mechanics School at Lamar university, I performed various maintenance tasks on heavy equipment to include troubleshooting engine issues and drivability problems, routine maintenance on the equipment and performing top end and complete engine overhauls. My experience as an equipment operator includes bulldozers, back hoe, track hoe, side boom, and forklifts. I have performed various mechanical tasks and inspections on the same equipment. I am well versed in pipeline pigging utilizing multi disc pigs, brush pigs, foam pigs and have been involves with gauge pigging and smart tool runs.
