Preconstruction: Provide support and collaborate with sales and estimating teams to assist in the successful planning and execution of a project from conceptual design, development, sale to project kickoff. Develop electrical budgets for all stages of preconstruction from conceptual narratives, schematic, design development, bid documents to construction level documents. Preconstruction collaboration to keep the project within budget and establish final GMP or lump sum cost. Monitor long-lead equipment by communicating with trusted vendors and manufactures and offer early procurement strategies. Maintain contact with vendors and forecast material escalation, evaluating and recommending early bulk pricing and buyouts when necessary. Conduct feasibility studies and identify potential constraints for early detection and provide resolutions in the preconstruction phases. Business Development: Analyze and identify potential markets and industry trends. Developing and implementing strategies for acquiring new clients while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders. Create compelling proposals and presentations that highlight unique selling features and competitive advantages over our competition. Work closely with estimating, marketing, and operations to assemble and submit RFQ's, RFP's and other proposal required documentation.
