Assistant Product Manager
CurrentProduct Manager for the Woodworking portfolio of JPW Industries (Axiom, Jet, and Powermatic). • Responsible for product through its entire life span, design through obsolescence. • Research and develop new and innovative product for Woodworking market. • Review innovation and current trends in market.• Source product with the help of a team based in Taiwan.• Facilitate creative and unique messages to end users through a marketing team.• Review and approve copywriting for all products. • Organize and keep current all specifications, cost files, and vendor files.• Coordinate with sales representatives to present proprietary products to retail buyers and end users. • Communicate with logistics and vendors to deliver product to customers on time. • Be aware of inventory levels and work with planning and sales to keep them balanced. • Review costs, margins, and pricing in regards to product categories. • Review existing products with sales and inventory to make decisions regarding lifecycle.
