Driller - Driller on land rig. I was responsible for rig floor operations and training of personnel to be efficient and productive workers. I oversaw the rig crew, rig operations and rig safety. I left Energy Drilling to obtain a higher paying position with Superior Energy.

Derrickhand – Worked at the Keppel Shipyard in Singapore on the new build, Bully I - I was responsible for participation in the developing of RSOP (Rig Specific Operating Procedures) - Learning the rig lay out before going operational - Learning and participating in the QMS systems associated with Noble Drilling’s policy and procedure. I left Frontier Drilling after they were bought out by Noble Drilling.

Toolpusher – Responsible for the preparation and executing well activities set by the contractor in the drilling and workover fields for turnkey operations – Responsible for training and overseeing the drilling activities and implementation of the policies and procedures set forth by Sandia Drilling and various contractors – Responsible for upkeep of the rig and maintaining records for audit purposes – Keeping pipe tallies and other critical well information – Responsible for following BHA set up as per the contractors request. Laid off due to slow down in the land drilling division. **Laid off due to slow down in land drilling in 2009.

(I worked through buyouts/name changes from Falcon, R and B Falcon, Transocean, then TODCO and when I left we were Hercules)Driller – Responsible for rig floor operations and training of personnel to be efficient and productive workers – Keeping up with pipe tallies and down hole measurements suck as volume and pressures – Responsible for making up BHA as requested by the contractor or tool owner – Conducting drills and training personnel to be effective and knowing their responsibility during well control situations Performing operations to concur with QMS, PTW, MMS, USCG, STOP safety program, job safety & environmental analysis (JSEA) sheets. Derrickhand – Responsible for basic rig maintenance, good housekeeping, safe rigging and work practice, maintaining mud pump and mud integrity – Working the monkey board during tripping operations – Leading the crew during nipple up/down job task as well as leading and training personnel in the pump room and derrick. I left Hercules to take a tool pushing position with Sandia Drilling.

I worked for Parker Drilling until I was laid off due to an oilfield slow down in 1997.
