M&P Security is locally owned and operated by Chad Potter and Ron Mullins in Eastern Kentucky. Chad and Ron have over 40 years of combined professional experience in the security industry. Ron is a retired police officer of 27 years and Chad is an 8-year U.S. Army veteran with 14 years of experience in security and executive protection. We have been providing security for CTI Foods in Owingsville, KY for 6 years. We provided security for AppHarvest at their Morehead, Richmond, and Berea, KY locations during their construction and start up phases. We also provide services for Nestle in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Security Force Captain -Supervise security operations for Marathon Petroleum Company Catlettsburg Refining. Responsible for the scheduling, payroll, safety, and training of 40+ officers. Ensure staffing for all refinery static security post. Prepare weekly billing and expense reports for the MPC Security Chief. Maintain employee records and safety documentation for all officers. Ensure safety compliance with MPC and OSHA standards. Conduct daily safety meetings with employees and report all accidents, injuries, and near misses. Develop and implement procedures to improve safety culture among employees.Lenel System Administrator -Subject matter expert for Marathon’s Lenel On-Guard Enterprise system used for access control and monitoring for the Catlettsburg Refinery. Generate Lenel reports and compile data into Excel spreadsheets for Marathon management.TSA Trusted Agent -Vetted by TSA to conduct business pertaining to TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).Special Response Team Leader -Command a specialized team of armed officers in response to all security related incidents involving an active shooter, terrorist activity, or workplace violence.

-Law Enforcement and Protection of U.S. Military property and facilities. Conduct correctional operations and guard detainees. Conduct investigations of crimes committed on U.S. Government property. Issue citations and serve warrants in accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice under the direction of the Provost Marshall.

-Multiple Launch Rocket System Crewmember, Ammunition Specialist, Weapons Expert. Deployed to combat in 2006 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Served under JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) as a member of OCF (Other Coalition Forces).
