• Executed research, vetting, and compilation of concise memos of political fundraising liabilities for distribution to senior campaign staff on donors contributing up to $75,800 to the Campaign and DNC, including fundraising and political event participants featuring the President, Vice President, First Lady and Senior White House Advisors in a deadline driven, highly regulated and highly publicized industry. • Managed correspondence with donors living abroad to ensure compliance with Federal Election Commission regulations. • Utilized LexisNexis, the congressional lobby database, and Federal Election Commission records to determine criminal, financial and legal issues that may adversely impact the President, the White House or the Democratic Party.

• Conducted extensive background research on major donors giving up to $5,000 and others publicly involved with the campaign. • Vetted high-profile attendees to political and fundraising events with the President, Vice President, First Lady, and high-profiled senior White House advisors. • Developed advanced-level knowledge in vetting research methods and databases such as NGP and LexisNexis.

• Worked closely with Director of Correspondence in the development of a communicationsstrategy to effectively record and respond to all correspondence in positive and uniform manner and managed the daily operations and structure of all electronic correspondence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Analyzed trends and volume of electronic correspondence according to daily issues in media, responses to campaign emails, national security threats (which were reported to the Secret Service), and all other miscellaneous email and reported information to senior management. • Trained volunteers and junior interns in accordance with Obama for America’s overall core principles.

• Oversaw campaign activities for primary election of the City Clerk’s race in two Chicago wards including distribution of literature, signs and other campaign materials to each office. • Coordinated with each ward’s Alderman, committee person, and their staff’s in the recruitment, training and management of volunteers. • Initiated successful voter contact and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) activities including organizing call sheets and walk packets for volunteers to ensure our target of over 50% of votes on Election Day and won primary election with 60% of votes to avoid primary election runoff.

• Recruited, trained and managed volunteers to run neighborhood teams which included six team leaders and over 100 volunteers which contributed to the successful reelections of Gov. Pat Quinn and Attorney General Lisa Madigan. • Developed and implemented a successful voter contact strategy for five Cook County townships and three Chicago wards. • Managed coalition and team-building organizational development activities among local officials and organizations during GOTV.

• Researched and constructed a database of potential contributors using the American Historical Association’s Directory, The Journal of Slavic Military Studies, and previous volumes of the Military Encyclopedia of Russia and Eurasia. • Created special topical sections for quick reference by reading through selections of potential contributors. • Maintained daily contact with Dr. Reger concerning specific topical focuses and upcoming needs.
