I have spent 12 years with the FAA as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, including 9 years in New York Center working with Advanced Technologies Oceanic Procedures (ATOP), and Offshore Radar. 3 years at Washington Center. Provided Air Traffic Services to Air Carriers, Military and General Aviation Pilots in the En Route phase of flight. Worked with Traffic Management Units to efficiently deliver requested services to clients. Utilized simulation for the instruction and readiness of colleagues and Developmental's. Supplied the complex multifaceted NY Metro region with both RADAR and Non-RADAR Air Traffic Services leading to development of airspace and UI. Supported the advancement of Advanced Technologies and Oceanic Procedures through real time data collection and collaboration. Operated the only vertical, lateral and speed, Descend Via arrival procedure in the NY Control Center. Proposed and collaborated traffic flow with four International Control Agencies.
