Striving to be on the leading edge of nonprofit innovation and technology, Bosma Enterprises continues this path of excellence by implementing continuous improvement projects and using project management practices to execute new business endeavors. I am blessed to have the opportunity to take part in these projects, currently including a redesign of our bosma.org website which will be optimized for blind accessibility and mobile device use. It will also include e-commerce capabilities to create new channels to sell Bosma's medical products to federal, state and commercial customers. This project is slated to take approximately six months to implement and integrate with Bosma's Salesforce CRM. I get to be part of the requirements elicitation, business analysis, process mapping, and schedule and scope management. Continuous improvement projects require much business analysis and change management, both of which are gratifying endeavors as they test stakeholder patience and diligence. My part with these projects include creating the project charter, overseeing project meetings, managing scope and schedule, overcoming implementation roadblocks, creating and coordinating training and SOP documentation and ensuring outcomes meet the project requirements and Bosma's strategic goals.

The project lasted over two years and went live on September 2, 2014, costing over one million dollars. Project Management duties included overseeing the projects scope, schedule, user acceptance testing, training and implementation. This includes ensuring appropriate stakeholder meetings and decisions are made in a timely fashion, milestones are met, and costs are closely monitored.
