I am primarily responsible for managing and supervising Manufacturing and Tool Engineering activities within the Engineering and Tool & Die group.My job allows me to utilize and drive the APQP process which promotes team participation and process improvements while maintaining yearly objectives and goals.I'm also required to provide technical manufacturing engineering expertise to ensure we maintain effective program launches with safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing processes that keep us above the bar to promote our continued growth throughout the automotive industry.

As a Process Engineer I was responsible for providing the manufacturing plant with the necessary operational and technical support to achieve daily targets and to drive continuous improvement activities. My job was to be involved with certain tool designs from the initial phase all the way through implementation at the plant level. I coordinated daily with our corporate office on any and all aspects of the products coming into the plant.Conduct weekly APQP meetings in an effort to dissolve any and all open issues in regards to new launches or existing processes and help provide the necessary means to improve them. Establish process parameters/set up sheets for the die department.Participate in cost save initiatives throughout the plant.

I am charge of the blending department at Campbell Soup. I have 76 employees that directly report to me. I am in charge of scheduling manpower to accomodate our production schedule, run team meetings at the start of our shift and pass down meetings at the end of our shift. I provide information to any and all who require it from Human Resource personnel to Industrial Engineers who are trying to improve our efficiency as a company. With the vast background of employees that we have my role can carry many different titles such as a coach, mediator and at times a counselor along with a disciplinarian when needed.

I'm the program manager of the solar program at Alex Products, Inc. Last year solar was Alex Products' 4th largest customer bringing in $6 million in sales. The estimated annual volume for solar in 2013 is to put solar as Alex Products 2nd largest customer bringing in over $20 million. I am the liason between our sister company, AP Alternatives, and our manufacturing facility, Alex Products, Inc. I'm responsible for providing direct communication to plant managers and supervisors in regards to timing and how we can best meet our customer's needs. I provide production schedules to the plant floor and provide a main point of contact for anything involving inventory needs, product quality defects, and downtime in regards to tooling. All communication between our manufacturing facility and our sister company flow through myself. I'm involved with everything from quoting new product prices, accounts receivable, purchase order requisitions, supplier issues to new product implementation and tooling design.

I became the direct contact between our customer and I relayed all needed information to the production floor. I was a mediator between the customer and supplier trying to create an ideal winning situation for both sides involved. My duties consisted of direction the production floor on scheduling and manpower to sitting down with engineers trying to design a new machine to meet our customers changing needs.

I conduct daily/weekly APQP meetings along with being the main contact for one of our customers. I follow products through the design phase to full production.

Assisted Engineers with prints, CAD and process flows. I also helped design/build prototype products that we were working to create.
