As the Captain of the University of Alabama Police Department, I lead a team of over 40 officers and staff who are committed to ensuring the safety and security of the campus community. With 17+ years of law enforcement experience, I have developed and implemented effective policies, procedures, and training programs that enhance the professionalism, accountability, and performance of the department. I have also partnered with various campus stakeholders, such as the Office of Student Conduct, the Title IX Coordinator, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to foster a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration. My core competencies include crisis management, emergency response, crime prevention, community engagement, and leadership development. I am passionate about serving and protecting the university and its diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. My goal is to make the campus a safe and welcoming environment for learning, research, and innovation.
