Responsible for all daily construction barge activities and client relations on sight, such as simops (multiple operations implemented and performed simultaneously), enforce and assess safety policies of client and company, safety drills, daily reviews of Job Safety Analysis, weekly safe hours worked review and assessments, sight preparation, barge positioning, tug boat positioning, spud placement for barge anchoring, work scope preparation and implementation. Bid preparation and scheduling of work scope, this included sight walkthroughs, equipment/manpower assessments, logistics, housing, food and transportation of personnel. This is a demanding, fast pace environment requiring solid problem solving skills and an ability to make on sight decisions or preplan weeks/months ahead of schedule. Positioning construction barges requires a coordinated effort between several boats, survey positioning, constant weather assessments and communications with any existing structure in the immediate area, often leaving very little room for error or miscalculations.

Construction rep for safety steering, multi national crew management, crane inspection and operation, maintains rigging certifications, oversaw rigging activities onboard - loading and offloading supplies, equipment, personnel. Permit, JSA reviews.

Responsible for rigging department, this includes overseeing rigging crew, maintaining rigging equipment, planning on sight jobs, removal and replacement of steel in tanks, removal and replacement of spool pieces on production level, JSA reviews, crane operation's (including loading and offloading of personnel and equipment), conducting permit evaluations for review from upper level management, and performing on sight training and safety class's for rigging department. Construction Representative for Management Safety Steering Committee. 1 year contract with option to renew.

DMT is an offshore sub-sea construction company. Specializing in deep water (up to 10,000 ft) ROV work. Responsible for rigging and deck department this included but was not limited to writing procedures for equipment operations, JSA's, maintenance / inspection logs on all equipment used in the rigging department, daily progress reports planning and executing of loading / offloading of supplies and personnel. Operated 100 tn hydraulic knuckle boom crane and 100 tn sub-sea tower winch with nitrogen heave compensation system.

Shaw is a NDT (non-destructive testing) company witch uses AUT (automatic ultrasonic testing) to examine welds as well as other applications. As a technician my duties were to keep the equipment up and running. This involved constant maintenance, documentation, and observation. System equipment used ranges from hydro and pneumatic to electrical. This is a fast paced environment that requires a quick thinker.

Experience in the removal and installation of generators, engines, pumps, winches, structures and the rebuilding of barges. Experience with schematics and diver assisted projects. Experience in tank repair, heavy lifting, demolition and installation of offshore structures, barge positioning, pulling anchors, light fitting and welding, and hydraulic system for jetting machines. Operated Manitowic 3900 and the 4100 series friction rigs, cherry pickers, daily maintenance and inspection of cranes and pickers.
