Expanding and strengthening PGA's partnership with State and local agencies in North Florida as we develop projects that reduce congestion and increase safety.

In charge of growing the company's presence in North Florida with State and local clients. I lead a diverse team of professionals and oversee the acquisition of talent and development of projects.

Lead a team of Engineers charged with stewardship and oversight of $2 billion Federal Aid program. Ensure efficient and effective use of taxpayer dollars.

Transportation Engineer covering District 5 of the Florida Department of Transportation. This includes the Orlando and Daytona Metro areas. I was the main point of contact for questions related to the federal highway program within the geographical region. I provided full oversight on over 20 projects in various phases of planning, environment, design and construction, including the $2 billion I-4 Major project. I was a member of the District Interchange Review Committee and worked with FDOT to approve Interstate access requests. Some were developer-driven and required a lot of involvement to get finalized. I carried out the Emergency Relief (ER) program within my district and provided training to individuals throughout the State of Florida. I was instrumental in obtaining ER funds for District 5 soon after Tropical Storm Fay hit in 2008.

Rotational assignment with Headquarters. Primary responsibility for Congressionally-Designated Projects (earmarks) contained in past legislative bills, which included over 11,000 projects. I directed and provided guidance for implementing transfers, advances, and flexibility provisions of High Priority Projects (HPP) and Transportation Improvement (TI) projects. I issued memos containing allocations of over $3.9 billion worth of contract authority and over 5900 individual projects for FY2008.

Primary responsibility for recruiting and hiring approximately 25 employees annually with a training budget in excess of $1 million. My primary duties included coordinating development plans and assignments, formulating and implementing various components of the PDP Leadership Academy, allocating and monitoring participants' individual budgets, discussing performance and conduct issues with the employee and/or their coach as they arose, resolving complaints from trainees, placing participants in their first permanent position and evaluating overall PDP quality and effectiveness. While coordinator I managed the permanent placement of over 50 participants.

I was responsible for the Federal-aid highway program within a geographic area of New York. NYSDOT relied upon me to help them carry out their Federal-aid highway program. This included planning, environmental, design, finance, construction and maintenance aspects of Federal-aid projects. I also represented FHWA to various Federal, State, local and other agencies, as well as contractors and the public.

Roadway Designer for various controlled access freeways in Kentucky and West Virginia. As a result, I became thoroughly knowledgeable of the states' highway design criteria as well as AASHTO's Green Book. I designed interstates, highways (arterials and collectors), interchanges, pedestrian paths and other transportation projects. I was involved with most phases of the design process including: horizontal and vertical geometrics, cross sections, right of way mapping, maintenance of traffic plans, and engineering estimates.
