• Install, test and trouble shoot a wide variety of gauges that measure acceleration, compression, tension, force, blast overpressure, thermal measurements, temperature, axial rotation, and strain• Load and stage ATDs (wired and D4D) for Live Fire events which includes dressing the ATDs completely in their uniforms and proper ammunition, physically placing ATDs in vehicles, and making over 39 connections for data channels per ATD• Operating, maintaining, and calibrating data acquisition systems which includes digitizers, signal conditioners, and BTSX• Advanced knowledge of hardware and software used in our data acquisition systems• Identify and correct equipment, hardware, and software issues • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, equipment, and data acquisition system• Reference and interpret technical manuals on various equipment, instrumentation, and procedures• Import, build and configure parameters for our various gages and ATDs for data acquisition• Acquire, analyze, archive, and make post shot notes on data for tests with hundreds of data channels• Operate CAP 3 firing systems and take data on our various gages and ATDs (both wired and D4D Gen 2)• Supervise and train new technicians on operational procedures, systems, equipment, and instrumentation
