He leads the wealth management practice in our Des Moines, Iowa office. As the lead advisor of the Wealth Management Group, he helps clients develop plans for business succession, cash flow, income tax, estate and gift, investment and retirement. Chad is driven by helping his clients succeed. His client relationships go beyond the surface as he strives to know and understand each of them and their specific goals and dreams. Chad is a deliberative person with the unique ability to identify, assess and minimize risks with regard to achieving these goals and dreams. These abilities are the cornerstone of his extensive experience assisting clients.Under Chad’s leadership, RSM’s Des Moines Wealth Management office has either won or been first runner up in the Des Moines’ Business Record’s Best of Des Moines-Wealth Management Division for 6 of the last 8 years, including 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018. Over the years Chad has been named a top financial planner in the “Guide to America’s Best Financial Planners” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America and to Worth Magazine’s Top 100 Wealth Advisors. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, a Certified Public Accountant and a Personal Financial Specialist, a specialty designation of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He graduated in 1991 from Mount Marty College, Yankton, South Dakota, with a B.A. degree in accounting.
