About Chad Vickery

As the Vice President of Global Strategy and Technical Leadership at The International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), I develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the quality and impact of IFES's work on electoral integrity around the world. I oversee the research agenda, policy analysis, and program design and implementation of IFES, and supervise a team of technical experts who provide recommendations for program improvement and innovation.With over 20 years of experience in international policy development, research and publications, stakeholder partnerships, business development, and strategic leadership, I am passionate about advancing democracy, voting rights, and the rule of law in the US and abroad. I have led and contributed to numerous research projects, publications, assessments, and missions that address critical issues and challenges in electoral integrity and justice in various regions and contexts. I have also built strategic alliances with academic institutions, political associations, and other research organizations to promote IFES's vision and mission within the community.
