Defined the overall architecture for the Operations Support Systems to support a new Cable network technology named Remote PHY. The solution covered network automation, logical and physical inventory, and service assurance.This technology introduces dramatic change and complexity in deploying the network infrastructure. Multiple network services need aligning configuration for a Remote PHY Node to boot up and provide customer service. The goal was network automation without manual swivel-chair between applications.Many of the devices had not been built and much of the code had not been written yet so I worked extensively with teams inside the company, vendors, and industry partners to align on how the pieces would fit together.
