    In the Fall of 2016, West Fargo Public Schools hired by their first athletic facility director. This position was hired to over see the construction and development of not only a physical facility, but also a specific program area. West Fargo Schools build an +$30million facility to be home to the 2016 Olympic trials pool. Trials pool was used in Omaha to qualify swimmers for the Rio Olympics. At the same time the School district built a multi-million dollar Hockey facility with 2 sheets and of ice with room to expand to a third in the future. The district hired a third-party to oversee the operations of the facility, but within a year there were numerous issues with management.I was asked to steady the ship until a replacement could be found. During that time, I was able to simplify operational process and streamline productivity of the facility. With addition of the new facility I was able to increase usage of WFPS facilities at an exponential rate and increase revenue by over $200K/year.Work closely with contractors to ensure proper execution of building plans.Develop and introduce aquatic programming to fit the needs of the Fargo-Moorhead community and increased swim lesson offerings to over 1200/year.Work closely with local swim clubs to provide rentals for practice and events (local, state, regional, national).Work with local/regional philanthropy organizations to procure sponsors for the facility.Manage daily operations of a full-service aquatic center, including multiple swimming pools, dry-land training area, concession stand, training rooms, event operation, and all business operations.Worked with local philanthropy groups retain outside contributions for additional features to the facility such as audio/video system for streaming events.Lead the charge in collaboration with the local police department in developing a swim lesson program for first-generation Americans and at-risk youth.
