Examples include homeowner consultations regarding attractants, neighborhood canvassing, aversive conditioning, trapping/relocating and occasional euthanasia. • Serve as region wide Chronic Wasting Disease coordinator to include managing/distributing supplies, providing training sessions for staff and coordinating submittal of all regional samples.

Examples include oil/diesel spill response, erosion control and low water crossing recommendations.

• Provide site support for wildlife management activities as driven by an Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan. Examples include endangered species management, game and nongame surveys, nuisance wildlife management and public fishing area/game check station coordination. • Perform water quality biological monitoring for streams and lakes throughout the installation and its satellite training areas. Utilize bioassessment techniques to determine the health of aquatic systems based on the effects of land use. Examples include electrofishing and netting along with aquatic vertebrate and invertebrate identification.

• Detect asbestos in World War II-era structures utilizing polarized light microscopy. • Monitor treated effluent for oil and grease, total suspended solids, biochemical oxygen demand and fecal coliform. • Contribute active role in facility certification through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program.
