Reporting to the SVP and Chief Data Officer leading the Application Modernization team focused on improving application availability and performance for the business. Day to day support of ~4,000 applications with priority on improving stability for ~500 critical business applications while simultaneously modernizing the app landscape.• Created Application Stability Certification process comprised of eight lanes of work by multiple IT and business subject matter experts to drive improved uptime and performance.• Established annual goal of 50% reduction of Major Incidents (MI’s) and 50% improvement in Mean Time to Restore (MTTR).• Program owner for Application Modernization to instrument modern tooling and technologies to achieve a self-healing ecosystem through predictive analytics, automation, and AIOps.• Prioritizing program effort to protect Federal data – Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to achieve Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to preserve existing government contracts and enable future bidding opportunities.• Initiated CenturyLink COVID-19 Command Center to enable 36,000 North American employees to transition to work from home with assurance of access to essential applications through VPN and Citrix.• Recipient of global company 2020 Q2 “Clarke M. As the primary IT service delivery owner for Catholic Health Initiatives Chad has the understanding of the complexities facing healthcare organizations today. While focusing on key business deliverables to improve customer experience he has formed strong partnerships with clinicians, physicians, and business line leaders in HR, Finance, Legal, Security, Real-estate, and beyond. Over the past year Chad has also been co-leading the IT Design Integration with Dignity Health as the two companies form CommonSpirit Health, the largest religious non-profit healthcare system ever created. Key areas of focus on the integration have been centered on system integrations, cost synergies, and organizational alignment. This body of work has been highly successful while also maintaining responsibilities for the improvements in the IT delivery of EMR applications including Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, Epic, and other ancillary clinical apps. Non-clinical key business applications support includes Lawson, Workday, Kronos, and many others. Chad’s responsibilities at an operational level are highlighted below:Possesses a long history of corporate mergers and acquisitions integrating small to large companies into enterprise standards and centralization of IT assets to improve operational efficiency and cost optimization.Responsible for a sizable annual budget of capital and operating funds addressing technical debt, life-cycle management, and introducing emerging technologies.Oversight of a majority of the IT enterprise infrastructure environment and application rationalization to reduce the complex landscape of 3,000+ unique deployments. Includes the Application Engineering team responsible for translating the application requirements to infrastructure deliverables for optimium uptime and performance.Design and delivery of data center, network, server, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery solutions.

Director of global network and voice operations for Ciber business and clientele. Direct report to CIO in support of strategic initiatives, vendor management, cost reduction, office consolidations, and special projects. Lead cloud strategy, implementation, and migrations.Key Contributions:• Lead project implementation of Contact Center solution for Global Support Desk.• Consolidated three London area offices into new Europe flagship office in central London.• Implemented strategies and partner solutions to significantly reduce operational costs.

Directed global data center operations team on strategy and execution of operational stability, scalability, redundancy and performance for big data solutions. Led global teams supporting enterprise storage and server infrastructure running NetApp and HP. Guided teams supporting ESX VMware with Windows, SQL, Linux, Oracle, and middleware platforms. Liaised with Vendor Management on critical contract agreements. Member of Extended Leadership Team led by CIO and other executive leaders.

Directed Hosting Operations Team on processes and procedures for data center operations and deployment of web-based (.Net) and web-enabled (Citrix) applications. Managed operations of world class SAS-70/SSAE 16 Soc2 Certified Data Centers. Accountable for P&L on Hosting Business of over $1M. Served on EHS&S business line leadership team, and on Sustainability and Product Lifecycle Management team.

Directed Technical Support department of 10 remote staff in Phoenix and Beijing; created self-supporting model for team in supporting 3,000 customers on active support agreements for Environmental, Health and Safety software solutions. Coordinated multiple projects including product release management between Support, Services, Development, QA, and Product Management departments. Planned, directed, and managed Support budget and revenues. Oversaw Hosting/On-Demand packaged pricing for services setup and annual change control.

Key technical consultant to customers of leading provider of Environmental, Health and Safety solutions. Installed and configured enterprise regulatory software, Compliance Suite™ products, delivered customer education and documented processes. Managed technical support team, product releases, and customer escalations. Performed remote and on-site customer installations. Setup and Supported internal IT infrastructure.

Leveraged position to transition from the Health Care industry to Business (Software) industry.Processed new business annuities applications from field agents into AS400 and an in house image and workflow system.Participated on “Center of Excellence” teams to encourage departments to strive for a higher level of customer service. Levy & Associates, Theraphysics, and Matrix Rehabilitation were separate entities for the same location during this 4 year period.Self started new clinic offering of post rehabilitation exercise. Provided ability for patients to continue rehabilitation under ACSM certified trainer.Facilitated contracts with five insurance companies to pay for post rehabilitation exercise sessions.Assisted Physical Therapists with patient case loads. Administered modalities and instructed patients in rehabilitation exercise.
