As Senior Director of Client and Employee Experience at Senior Helpers of Portland, I help provide compassionate care and improve the quality of life for our clients and their families. I focus on business development, marketing, community relations, and talent strategies that connect seniors with the personalized support they need to age comfortably in their homes.In addition, I serve as the Principal of SparkOrg, a boutique consulting firm where I collaborate with small to midsize, purpose-driven organizations. Together with my network of experienced consultants, I help these organizations design and implement effective strategies, improve operational efficiency, and enhance internal communications and change agility. My professional background includes leadership positions in the media, insurance, and tech security sectors, primarily in corporate communications, organizational effectiveness, and change management roles. I have worked for companies such as ADT, CNA, Allstate, Tegna, and Gannett. I began my career as an Assistant Press Secretary in the U.S. Senate. I have also been a journalist and editor for various publications, including The Associated Press, Hollywood Reporter, Arizona Republic, Des Moines Register, and The Advocate magazine.I hold a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Iowa and an M.S. in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. Additionally, I am certified in human-centered design and the Hogan talent assessment and volunteer on the Marketing & Communications Committee for the Association of Change Management Professionals.I am always eager to expand my network and look forward to connecting.
