I went from two rural communities participating in FOS to seven rural communities participating by securing community chairs.Volunteer Development: I have had success at rebuilding the district committee in my rural service area. I increased the district committee from four active members to twelve active members who in turn have also added 20 sub-committee members. I rebuilt the district nominating committee which now meets throughout the year. Fiscal Management: From 2003-2007 have developed and managed a $100,000.00 Cub Scout Day Camp/Cub Scout Resident camp budget - 12% of the council’s budget.Program Development: Have successfully managed the Cub Scout resident camping programs from 2003-2007. Each year have had a 75% return rate in camp staff members. Summer camp has seen growth in available Cub Scouts participating in 2003-2007 from 28% to 47% of available Cub Scouts.
