Chad is the Vice President of Research and Development at Carterra, a company that develops innovative technologies and solutions for drug discovery, particularly in the monoclonal antibody therapy area of research. He has over 19 years of experience in engineering, product development, and project management in various industries, from defense to medical devices.As the leader of the R&D department, Chad oversees the entire product lifecycle of pipeline products, from the research feasibility stage, through development, verification, validation, and productization, to market launch and manufacturing. He leads a team of exceptional staff in engineering, firmware/software, testing, molecular biology, and research, and reports directly to the chief executive level. He is skilled in policy and process design, deployment, and improvement, as well as statistics, quantitative business analytics, risk management, budgeting, and innovation. He is also adept at modified agile project management, strategy development, planning, positioning, and messaging. Chad holds an MBA from Westminster College, with honors and emphasis on Technology Management / Commercialization, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
