Organized and facilitated WT-19 Machine Head workout with ~50 cross-functional stakeholders to optimize concept design and layout yielding ~$96MM per turbine savings. Project Manager for parallel programs including the redesign of aluminum cast to injection molded parts and make-center supply chain optimization worth $3MM in annual savings. Partnered with GE Renewables GCL for Nacelles/Blades to develop a standard process for composite physics-based should cost modeling for vacuum infusion molding. Created pricing derivative for electrical cables as applied to heavy industrial and healthcare applications leading to increased cost productivity for install base and new designs. Partnered with GE Ultrasound to select and evaluate new suppliers for endoscope in efforts to solidify an exit strategy with an existing unhealthy supplier relationship. Led contract negotiations for Professional Services Agreements, Strategic Supplier Agreements, Statements of Work, etc. for GE Ultrasound suppliers. Developed supplier penalty strategy for payment terms varying from nominal (reference "Pay Term Penalty Strategy" on GE Wiki).

Mechanical design owner of the GE9X TAPS III Combustor for the Boeing 777X aircraft. Introduced novel technologies such as ceramic matrix composite and additive manufacturing into the product and attained multiple patents in combustion technology. Coordinated system integration between a cross-functional team of mechanical, combustion aero and thermal design stakeholders as well as suppliers to balance system requirements. Directed analysis of stress, fatigue, modal, harmonic, and lifecycle cost requirements. Generated engineering drawings and design review documentation packages. Led electron beam welding and additive manufacturing readiness programs, including analytical predictive pilots, to validate process capability prior to production launch. Initiated partnership with GeonX, a weld modeling and additive manufacturing simulation software company that ultimately led to their acquisition by GE.

Module Engineer for small-commercial combustor mechanical design team of seven. Project Manager responsible for delivery of first engine hardware two weeks ahead of schedule despite a program-driven late architectural change. Coordinated and implemented all certification and engineering test instrumentation requirements and created shop modification drawings to facilitate hardware rework.

Responsible for the design and validation of rotor-to-stator clearances during transient and steady-state engine operation for high energy rotating components. Leveraged inputs from thermal finite element models to generate nodal displacement algorithms for predicting engine operating clearances as a function of cycle conditions. Executed engine testing for Fan, Booster, and High-Pressure Compressor. Verified predicted rotor-to-stator engine operating clearances and turbine active clearance control valve swings.

Played a key role in the development of ground support equipment for an upper stage liquid propellant engine to be used in a post-space-shuttle moon rocket program.

Developed a test program to demonstrate ablative coating systems on the external bell nozzle of a liquid propellant rocket engine for plume protection of an adjacently firing solid rocket booster.

Responsible for the safe and continuous operation of the International Space Station. Interacted with astronauts as a console operator for stowage and cabin organization.
