My professional journey began in 2015, starting as an insurance broker working exclusively in the transport and marine risk space, before evolving into his current role as a Senior Claims Consultant for long tail liability claims.My expertise lies in navigating complex liability claims across various lines of general insurance and interpretation of policy wordings to ensure a fair outcome for all parties involved. I have previous exposure in the self insurance space of Workers Compensation, working for a large international company, JBS Australia. This role gave me exposure to various medical conditions, medical providers, causation of complex injuries and assessment of general damages across the state of Queensland. In this role, I had an amazing team to provide him with support, which allowed me to thrive in the space.In 2023, I accepted a role at Gallagher Bassett Services, working within their Specialty Claims Team. This team works closely with the Lloyds Syndicates and manages a large scope of complex claims across a number of different general insurance lines. This role gives a global perspective of the impact and importance of insurance for both companies and those affected by claims (whether third-parties, or the Insured).In early 2024, I accepted a position of Senior Liability Claims Consultant at Gallagher Bassett. This role has allowed me to take on additional responsibility of signing off on work of junior colleagues, preparing and delivering advanced learning courses on various topics relating to liability (contract, torts law, indemnity reviews etc) as well as take initiative on conducting claims audits. Whilst working, I continue to advance my technical knowledge and am completing my Bachelor of Law at the University of Southern Queensland on a part-time basis, with an expected completion date of 2026.
