My conviction to serve others and my love for technology converge in my fight to ensure justice in innovation for my clients through patent litigation and trials.Growing up in rural New Mexico, I learned to find creative solutions to solve problems. One of my earliest memories involves helping an elderly neighbor repair a water pump. Far from the city, we had to take stock of what we had and get creative with the resources available. With the broken components as models and plenty of junk metal sitting in trash heaps, we welded together replacement parts from scrap and then ground them to an accurate fit onto the pump. Ultimately, the pump’s distinctive appearance was only outmatched by its functionality, bringing water to the desert. Our neighbor’s garden lived on. Now I apply my technical expertise to create value for my clients by protecting their innovative products, fending off competitors, or rent seeking entities that sap profits. My legal practice bridges trial skills and diverse technical experience with chemistry, pharmaceuticals, nanotechnology, electronics, computers, and various mechanical technologies. I have achieved successful litigation and trial outcomes for clients ranging from technology startups, to multinational electronics conglomerates, to automotive manufacturers, to machine tooling manufacturers, to pharmaceutical companies selling branded or generic pharmaceuticals as well as biological or biosimilar products.
