As a teacher I enjoy passing on my knowledge and experiences so that students have a stronger foundation to pursue their own dreams. When I unplug I enjoy outdoor adventures just beyond my comfort zone, endurance events, exploring new places, and a good bowl of authentic ramen. All of these experiences provide teachable moments that are then applicable to various research settings and classroom lessons.I take pleasure in solving problems using data, creating simple and efficient solutions to complex problems, and then telling the story of the how and the why.
