I am a board certified Couple and Family Psychologist with a reputation for being a passionate advocate for systemic thinking in my roles of mental health clinic administrator, clinical supervisor, developmental/systemic psychotherapist, and family and business systems interventionist. I am an expert in parent-child dynamics and attachment theory and work to expand access to relationally-focused systems of care in an otherwise Cartesian treatment world. Trained at the graduate level in psychology, family therapy, the business of healthcare, and policy I am a professional hybrid. I maintain licenses as a psychologist and marriage and family therapist in Minnesota. In my clinical work I provide psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families with a specific orientation toward human development, interpersonal process, and relational trauma. I have served as a faculty supervisor for family psychology practica and have taught regular seminars for mental health professionals on the integration of attachment theory in clinical supervision. In addition to my clinical work with patients, I oversee all administrative aspects of a growing, multi-site specialty psychology clinic. I also provide consultation to mental health providers and clinics related to new business ventures, compliance, and interfacing with managed care. Through effective, evidence-based clinical practice and system management, our organizations are leading in the accountable care environment.
