While reporting to the CTO, I planned, developed and supported features as well as implemented system and process improvements. This included a migration from MongoDB to PostgreSQL and Loopback to Rails. I built CRM integrations, internationalization support, a public API with documentation, and a no-trust model for authorization. I implemented Rubocop for linting. I developed planning tools to be more effective asynchronously, participated in hiring engineers, and built onboarding documentation.

Presdo is an event networking app enabling participants to connect via web and mobile apps.While reporting directly to CEO Eric Ly, co-founder and former CTO of LinkedIn, I developed and supported features for Presdo's “Match”. Later, I architected and developed the API for a new product, “Hub.” I planned and groomed work as well as supported teammates in reviewing PRs, pairing, and mentorship. I brought apps to proper test coverage, delivered major version upgrades, and migrated dev environments to Docker.

Greane Tree Technology is a custom software and application development company.I developed scalable and well-tested web applications for a wide range of clients, including high-volume ones. I followed agile methodologies and worked with clients to deliver value efficiently while accommodating changes effectively. I ensured clean code was a top priority, enforced through code reviews and adherence to style guides.

MarketArt is an interactive directory and event management platform for the conference and trade show markets.I architected and developed a highly interactive touchscreen map/directory system for conferences and trade shows using Flash and PHP, later migrating to HTML5 and Ruby on Rails. The system supported both consumers and administrators. The admin side evolved to an event management system which facilitated multi-tenancy, two-way sync with Salesforce, and seamless integration with legacy applications. I played a crucial role in expanding the engineering team, reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.
