CurrentAs the Director of Facilities, I oversee all aspects of global facilities operations, including budget management, routine maintenance, emergency response, risk management, contractor supervision, security oversight, and site inspections. Additionally, I lead all design, construction, and project management activities related to Non-GMP capital construction projects.Key responsibilities:Facility Operations: Direct and manage all facilities functions, including policy implementation and safety procedures.Strategic Business Partner: Collaborate across all functions to support strategic decision-making regarding facility design and maintenance.Capital Projects: Lead the planning and execution of capital construction projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.Long-Range Planning: Support the development of long-range site master planning and oversee space planning, operations, and budgeting.Vendor Management: Manage external vendors, including real estate brokers, contractors, and service providers.Collaboration: Work with GMP Facilities Engineering and other technical teams to achieve corporate objectives.Facilities Management: Direct routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency responses to ensure efficient facility operations.Budget Oversight: Prepare and monitor facilities budgets, ensuring efficient expenditure.Compliance: Ensure compliance with zoning laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Project Coordination: Design and plan workstations, coordinate remodeling projects, and oversee relocations.Strategic Planning: Interface with senior leadership to develop long-term strategies related to lease negotiations and property management.Site Selection: Develop and recommend site selections with cost estimates for build-to-suit, leased, or purchased properties.
