About Chad Petterson
Chad Petterson has spent most of his career leading and funding start-up companies, ministries and socially-focused businesses. After graduating from the Michigan Business School as the University of Michigan's #1 scholar-athlete, Chad started his career in the M&A Department at Morgan Stanley in New York City. This eventually led to a specific focus on investing in early-stage companies and positions at venture capital firms in Boston and Connecticut.Chad has also sat of the other side of the table as an entrepreneur, leading the development of:iverCity (pronounced like "diversity") - California-based tech company focused on the specific needs of the poor, uneducated and illiterateWall Street Exodus - unique business development/ministry/TV & film project focused on serving the poor in NYC, Bridgeport and HondurasReceiving Jesus Football Camps - football camps for fatherless boys in innercity communities, starting in East NashvilleIMPACT Football - limited-contact football league aimed at reducing head trauma in young athletesLevel Field Lacrosse - program focused on "leveling the playing field" and allowing all young children to play lacrosseSTEALTH™ - football and finance combined in an unprecedented wayIn March of 2020, while developing the STEALTH platform, Chad saw the writing on the wall for the music industry in Nashville. Based on his experience helping Wall Street professionals during the 2008 financial crisis --- and sensing the great suffering and need that was being created by the current crisis -- he dropped everything to help out.The result was HOPE-20, a 501(c)(3) that has provided financial help, groceries, fresh produce, training and access to new income opportunities to music professionals affected by COVID-19. Through this work, the organization was able to pay over $150,000 of housing and utility bills, supply over 10,000 pounds of groceries and fresh produce, provide over 100 live and online courses and give mental, emotional and spiritual support to struggling artists and musicians.Once venues started opening back up and tours started getting back on the road, Chad re-named the effort HOPE FORWARD and shifted its focus to moving music professionals past the effects of the pandemic and FORWARD in their careers. Current initiatives include new, innovative approaches to mental health and new, innovative income opportunities/funding pathways.A major breakthrough in this pursuit has been the founding of LABELCOIN™, a for-profit Web3 song investment and fan engagement platform with a mission to end artist poverty.
Listed skills include Film, New Media, Start Ups, Entrepreneurship, and 16 others.

CurrentReceiving Jesus Football Camps is a football ministry aimed at fatherless boys in low-income innercity communities that combines faith, football and fun.It is a staggering fact that over 43% of U.S. children live without their father. This causes all kinds of problems later in life, from drug/alcohol abuse rates that are 10 times the average and suicide rates that are 5 times the average to runaway/homeless rates that are 32 times the average and incarceration rates that are 20 times the average. Our goal is not to completely replace a missing father but to at least help set a strong, Biblically-based foundation for these boys' young lives. We will do this by way of the fun, highly-disciplined sport of football. The football camps are completely free to participants and include instruction in football (with an emphasis on receiving skills) as well as Biblically-driven discussions of faith-related topics that specifically tie into the football lessons being learned on the field. The goal is to seamlessly weave the two together in every practice session so that they become one in the minds of these young, impressionable children. This effort started with children in innercity Nashville with a goal to create a model that can taken to other financially-poor innercity locations around the country.
Co-Founder & Head Of Boys Program
CurrentLevel Field Lacrosse is a lacrosse program that is focused on "leveling the playing field" and allowing all young children regardless of background or financial capabilities to play the great game of lacrosse. The organization was started in the summer of 2018 by Chad and Kirsten Petterson. Their first two lacrosse camps (one for boys and one for girls) were held for children from the projects of East Nashville, TN in conjunction with the Martha O'Bryan Center.Kirsten is a former high school All-American lacrosse player from New York who played college lacrosse (and squash) at Franklin & Marshall College. She currently leads the Brentwood girls development program (up through 5th grade), a program she started upon her arrival in Brentwood in early 2016. She also coaches for Nashville Youth Lacrosse and gives free lacrosse lessons to children who have never played to help grow the game.Chad would have loved to play lacrosse growing up but didn't because it wasn't offered in his hometown of Flint, MI. In its absence he played the traditional sports of football, basketball and track, all three of which he captained in high school, which led to him being named the Top Male Scholar-Athlete in the State of Michigan. He then went on to the University of Michigan where he was a 1st Team Academic All-Big Ten wide receiver, Rose Bowl Champion and Merrill Lynch-Heisman Award winner, an award that recognizes the University's Top Scholar-Athlete. Chad is also the head of the "Receiving Jesus Football Camps" ministry which similarly serves children in impoverished innercity locations. For more information, please visit...https://www.instagram.com/levelfieldlacrosse/

Wall Street Exodus is a project in which Wall Street professionals re-purpose their financial and business skills to create self-sustaining businesses for the world’s financially poor. The project’s objective is to transform lives. This occurs in three ways. First, the lives of the poor in the areas visited are transformed through increased job opportunities and income from the businesses created. Second, in the process of helping others, the Wall Street professionals see their own lives transformed and re-“purposed". Third, to expand the reach and the impact of this transformation process, all aspects of Wall Street Exodus are captured on film. This is being used to create an unprecedented reality television show and a ground-breaking feature-length film. Thus far, the project has touched lives in Teupasenti, Honduras and more locally in Bridgeport, CT. From this work, a model is being created that will impact lives around the world. To view the 3-minute trailers for the "Wall Street Exodus" reality TV show, please click below...
