After graduating at the University of Redlands with honors, Chad Power embarked on a new career as a Loan Officer specializing in originating Residential Home Loans. The major tasks of this position was to obtain the 1003, collect and submit pertinent documentation to underwriting and determine approval or denial status for the client's lending scenario. Graduating with both Finance and Marketing degrees, in conjunction with spending ten years as an Operations Manager for the Fortune-500 Specialty Retailer Leader, Costco Wholesale, gave Chad Power a significant competitive advantage when transitioning into the Lead Buyer's Agent REALTOR® position when the market was infused with the first major wave of foreclosure homes disbursed by banks REO (real estate owned bank foreclosure portfolios) and managed by their asset managers. The Lending experience enabled Chad to ask crucial questions to ensure the buyer's ability to obtain a loan. Chad's real estate knowledge base on current market trends was catapulted by submitting a variety of different purchasing scenarios and understanding the various outcomes with each different corresponding bank and client. Thus, giving Chad the necessary confidence and experience to launch his own full-service brokerage, Power Real Estate Group.
