  • Served as an analysis and certification engineer performing airplane fuel system and safety analyses and certifying design changes under FAA and EASA regulatory requirements (14 CFR Part 25). Responsibilities included.
  • Led ten certification projects through a collaboration with cross functional teams to develop certification plans and deliverables for on time delivery of airplanes with major fuel system design changes in compliance.
  • Managed, developed, and coordinated test plans and authored test reports for six airplane certification tests on major fuel system design changes in production. Results: All tests were successful and airplanes.
  • Built and validated new analysis tools in Matlab Simulink for airplane fuel system analysis and system level integration to replace legacy tools and move team to a MBSE strategy. Results saved 4-8 engineering hours per.
  • Implemented a repository and configuration control strategy for analysis tools and results. Results increased model traceability and decreasing engineering hours.
  • Created custom fluid analyses for customer specific configurations and accident investigations. Results decreased turnaround time to days from weeks. 75% reduction.
