•Provides management, administration, and maintenance of Wide Area Network system, routers, switches, applications and related equipment. •Assures system stability, security, and maximum uptime.•Identifies, locates, and resolves complex network problems to ensure minimal disruption of critical applications.•Resolves connectivity, performance, security, configuration and access problems.•Oversees design and implementation of individual solutions and ongoing maintenance and management of the wide area network.•Assists WAN Specialist & Network Specialists with network troubleshooting and coordinates communication related to system network interface issues.•Responds to escalations, tickets, and alerts in a timely manner.•Provides detailed solution documentation.

*Server administration and maintenance, including server backups, snapshots, and database functions.* Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting complex applications (Harris' GEMS suite)* Versatile in managing various IT functions and supporting multiple departments, including processing and printing checks for vendors and travel expenditures, requisitions, purchase orders, tax documents, W2s, report cards, important letters, etc.* Familiarity with large-scale data processing and reporting, including generating and printing large reports for audits and compliance for various departments; mainly Payroll, Accounting, HR, Property Control, and Purchasing.* Knowledge of IT security best practices, including safeguarding confidential employee and vendor data.* Experience in implementing and managing network infrastructure to support data processing and other business functions including server maintenance and installation, asset management, etc.
