Responsible for delivering re-write of www.avanade.com in MS SharePoint 2010. Stepped into the project during the testing phase to reintroduce quality and rigor into the development process, recalibrate the project plan and deliver a solution to production. Created a cohesive team between on-shore/off-shore technical resources and established a delivery mindset. Forged a relationship between IT and business stakeholders.Guided stakeholders in making difficult prioritization decision in order to go-live on schedule. Simultaneously released 18 sites in 7 languages for the Content Management System and published site. Established a factory model using Avanade's iterative delivery methodology for the on-going enhancements of the site.Delivered a global invoicing system. Used by 22 different billing regions worldwide. Application resulted in a business application framework for future Finance applications based on the Composite Application Guidance published by the Microsoft Pattern and Practices Team that uses components from the Microsoft Composite Application Library. Met aggressive schedules set by the business by relying heavily on delivering often and implementing thorough inspections and adaption by the business and technical teams.Responsible for upgrade of custom corporate time and expense system. Delivered with off-shore team. Worked closely with product owner on change control processes to manage an ever changing backlog due to the global nature of the project. Released the client to over 4,000 desktops on the schedule established by the product owner. No regression or follow on releases of client were required.Managed enterprise conversion of PeopleSoft to SAP for Finance and Payroll orgs.

Took over a project to design, develop and implement a complete rewrite of all proprietary insurance administration systems from a legacy ARev platform to a .NET based Windows platform. Delivered 3 major business systems in a phased approach including: Premium Accounting, New Business Processing and Commissions Accounting in 66% less time than the initial project attempts and with no increase in staffing. Implemented an agile development methodology (Scrum), bug tracking, change control, usability and acceptance testing. Converted 11 years of historical data, system has scaled to $57 million in annual premium and 503,000 policyholders, contains customized business rules for 21 insurance carriers. Responsibilities included development of IS strategies, project scope, estimation and prioritization, resource allocation and vendor management.

Responsible for overall corporate business administration and project oversight. Managed daily corporate operations, finance and human resource issues. Reviewed project estimations; bid and negotiated contracts.Worked with customers to maintain scope and resolve resource issues. Supported consultants and subcontractors on project management and delivery. Member of a 3-person PM team implementing IP Security (IPsec) across Microsoft’s Global Enterprise Network. • Managed a 24/7 operational team in support of a 7-billion row data warehouse containing collected server metrics. In addition to the MSCS SQL Server cluster, this system grew to include 30 additional MS SQL servers hosting 8 collection applications spread across the corporate WAN.

Developed client-server based applications exclusively for Microsoft based on MS SQL Server, Access and Visual Basic. Modeling tools included ER/win and Visio.Managed project schedule and budget, facilitated meetings, designed database, coded stored procedures and implemented upgrades to Microsoft's Company Store point-of-sale system. This included a desktop module, which was successfully released to over 9,000 users. This application also included inventory management, purchasing and receiving modules.
