It is typical for me to juggle multiple projects at once and to take the lead on coordinating the development of estimates for proposed projects. I acquire data by performing take-off for construction projects using a combination of construction drawings and narrative documents. I produce estimates of cost for projects based on the data I have collected.I have identified at least three areas in which technology that is currently available could increase the productivity of myself and other team members. Working part time as an independent consultant, I have been using Python coding language to produce software to automate the compilation and transcription of take-off data from Autodesk exports to company formats. I have produced software to extract and organize historical project data, produce metadata from historical project data, and proffer historical data when and where relevant to increase speed and accuracy.My work in this sector serves to inform designers and other partners as to the sustainability of current designs and to maximize the value realized from projects.I work as part of a team producing estimates. I leverage my skills and comparative advantages to attempt to maximize my current contribution to the group.I have produced estimates for the construction of utilities, bridges, and roads. Developing successful estimates required that I learn, and successfully articulate costs involved in realizing transportation projects. I have also produced estimates for a range of projects that interact with the transportation system; to include hospitals, schools, community centers, apartment complexes and more.

I initiated and facilitated care for patients in the inpatient setting, providing them with psychological support as well as basic physical needs. I initiated and facilitated care for over one thousand patients seeking outpatient procedures. I conducted the administration of moderate sedation of patients to maintain comfort and safety during endoscopic procedures. I monitored patients during their recovery post procedure and intervened as necessary to improve outcomes. I performed medication administrations using software and a team approach to reduce error and improve outcomes. I was part of a team that performed hundreds of endoscopic procedures; both by charting progress and findings as well as by operating tools to assist with interventions. I communicated directly with the other members of the care team in support of best practice throughout all patient care delivery. I performed health assessments and collected patient medical histories. I used this data to create an appropriate plan of care relevant and unique to each patient.I engaged with available training modules. I undertook offered training. I completed various carpentry projects germane to building a single-family residence. My teams completed projects according to a managed schedule and in concert with colleagues.Each day the site coordinator assigned me both projects and a team to complete those projects. Each day I earned the trust and respect of a new team and led them in the successful completion of our tasks. The site coordinator assigned me four to twelve unskilled volunteers each day. I began each project day by training volunteers how to perform our assigned task for the day, and then supported them in the performance and mastery of our assigned task. Every day ended with a debrief in which we discussed our successes and failures. I incorporated lessons from daily debriefs into plans and strategies for the next day’s assignment.I attended weekly training on various carpentry tasks. In addition, I attended monthly personal and professional training courses for personal growth and development.I assessed a variety of strategies to improve both crew member engagement and success. I further developed strategies that were successful and filed away less successful strategies. I regularly presented concise and effective safety training for groups of twenty to sixty volunteers. I performed outreach during our workdays by orally presenting our mission and function to volunteers as we completed projects. I used a combination of oral and physical presentation skills to communicate the safest and most effective way to perform our tasks to crews of volunteers.
