Event Investigation Event Investigator position serves as a mentor for abnormal event investigations, critiquing processes, ensuring all requirements are met. Assists with the development of investigative information; reviews documents, develops timeline, facilitates critiques, and writes the summaries for each event. Assists the Responsible Manager with facilitation and approves completion of the process in TOPIC. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance during investigations and critiques to drive a successful outcome. This position is the PEO contact for Event Management, providing guidance to users of Event Management/ TOPIC, making changes, corrections of information, and approves issues for Responsible Managers. Also serves as the TOPIC Event Notification (EN) Process Approver. Maintains the distribution list for ENs, approving additions and deletions. Supports procedure updates as required for E-PROC-0007, Enterprise Event Recovery and Notification Program. This position will provide oversight to work practices and procedural use, program self-assessments, monitor the incorporation of controls into projects, and perform other nuclear safety improvement activities, as appropriate. Monitors the continual improvement of performance in Conduct of Operations (ConOps), ensuring formal and disciplined processes are executed, acting as a liaison with operations, maintenance, engineering, training, and other stakeholders for the assessment process. Develop and maintain event metric for reporting and tracking of abnormal events. Executes and maintains a multi-site process for the communication of events which have impacted or have the potential to impact safety, security, or mission delivery.
