RushCard was purchased by GreenDot on February of 2017. Team lead in charge of customer facing websites (marketing site, application site, user management site, and cardholder site). Regular tasks include monthly marketing campaigns, analytics updates, fixing bugs, remove redundant or expired code, optimize speed, and improve the user experienceImplement requirements using our existing technology stack and with the appropriate unit and integration tests. Liaison between the development team and the marketing team, analytics vendors, A/B testing vendors, and marketing agencies with the purpose of advising on existing system functionality to help create manageable requirements within the time and budget allowedSupervised a team of two other front-end developersDesigned and developed, with full team of developers and architect, a complete redesign of the entire codebase including upgrading and transitioning all data from existing database to a new database schema. System designed around the Domain Driven Design methodology. Implemented message queues to asynchronously update the data in the different domains. Rewrote all existing front-end sites and API’s in ASP.NET MVC 5, ASP.NET WebApi 2, and Entity Framework. Custom built an AngularJs Customer Service portal to increase the efficiency of our call centers, and reduce the number of systems and clicks our agents required to do regular tasks.
