Chad SchmidtRegional Vice President, SalesChad Schmidt is Navitus’ Regional Vice President of Sales, servicing Mid-Market employers in the Western division of the United States. He has more than 20 years of expertise in the healthcare and pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industries and is a nationally recognized speaker on a range of PBM topics. Chad’s primary focus is to lead new client-centric partnerships and provide stellar service, with an emphasis on health plan/managed care entities, direct-to-employer, broker/TPA organizations, and consultant relationships. Using his extensive experience, Chad collaborates with prospective client partners to understand the advantages of managing their pharmacy benefits through Navitus’ unique, full-service, 100% transparent pass-through business model. Chad joined Navitus in 2018, with an executive-level background in healthcare and marketing. He gained valuable experience working with consultants, brokers, employer groups, third-party administrators, managed care organizations, and the federal and state governments. Prior to joining Navitus, he worked at MaxCare Rx as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, he implemented a brand strategy based on the transparent PBM business model and helped launch MaxCare Rx’s value-based network. He also worked at Magellan Rx in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 11 years. During that time, he was recognized for his PBM knowledge, experience, and display of customer and team-centric excellence. As a result, was promoted to a senior management position. Chad managed employer groups, city and state governments, third-party administrators, brokers and consultants, and a high-performing sales team. Chad earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from WP Carey School at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
